Celebrating the artistry and ancestry of 1930s African American entertainers, Glow’s 2015 production of The Hot Mikado brought Gilbert and Sullivan’s classic tunes with blasting horns, hot jazz, and the power of a big band! In tandem with The Wiz, The Hot Mikado was a love letter to African-American heritage in not only entertainment but in the American experience.
